The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary, was founded in 2012 and became a registered charity founded in August 2018, is dedicated to providing a forever home for farm animals who have been abused or are at risk. Located on four beautiful acres, the sanctuary is home to a wide variety of animals, including goats, sheep, chickens, cows, pigs, turkeys & cats. Each animal, with its own personality and identity, roams freely in a nurturing environment. The sanctuary also welcomes public involvement through animal sponsorships, donations, and volunteering opportunities, creating a community around animal welfare and compassion.
Visitors can explore the sanctuary, meet the animals, and learn more about their stories by participating in guided tours. The Happy Herd not only provides care for these rescued animals but also educates the public on the importance of treating all animals with kindness and respect. Through its programs, the sanctuary aims to inspire others to support farm animals in need and raise awareness about animal welfare.
